DESTINATION / ITALY
Oh Italy, probably one of the most perfect places in the world for a destination wedding!

Covering weddings from the Tuscany to Puglia,
Lombardy to the Almafi Coast
MY TOP 4 LOCATIONS FOR
WEDDINGS IN italy

Tuscany
Ahhh Tuscany, with its rolling hills, dramatic countryside, and endearing villages, is a true utopia for couples looking for sun-rich destination weddings so no surprise that many couples choose to tie the knot in this idyllic region of Italy. There are also so my fantastic cities in Tuscany from Pisa, Siena & San Gimignano but one of my favourite cities has to be Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. The architecture and art are incredible - Florence really sticks with you once you've been there. It's got this amazing mix of old and new that makes it perfect for weddings.
Almafi Coast
The Amalfi Coast runs down southern Italy and it's stunning. Villages like Positano and Ravello are gorgeous, plus there's the main town of Amalfi - your guests will have a brilliant time there. The water views are amazing, the seafood's top notch, and you can wander around some lovely gardens. It's the sort of place where you properly relax and take in the surroundings - all those hills rolling down to the sea. I'm already thinking about when I can get back there.

Rome
Rome's been around forever and has loads to offer couples wanting some history in their wedding. People call it the "Eternal City" because of all the ancient stuff - the Colosseum, Pantheon, Roman Forum, that sort of thing. These old buildings show just how impressive the Romans were at constructing things that would last. The city's also got great nightlife, brilliant food, and seriously some of the best gelato you'll ever taste. Honestly, the ice cream alone makes me want to go back!
Puglia
Puglia's down in the heel of Italy and it's absolutely gorgeous - perfect for weddings. The food scene there is unreal - incredible olive oil, amazing seafood, plus dishes like orecchiette pasta and panzerotti that your guests will rave about. You've also got some fascinating history with places like white-washed Ostuni, baroque Lecce, and the striking Castel del Monte. Add in those cone-shaped trulli houses, brilliant beaches, and all that fantastic food - it's everything you could want for an Italian wedding.

Faq / ITALY DESTINATION wedding

How long will you be in Italy for our wedding?
I usually fly in two days before Italian weddings. This gives me time to get over and get settled, explore the area a bit, and scout out some amazing spots for photos. Italy's got so much beauty - I love finding those hidden gems that'll make your photos really special. I typically fly home the day after the wedding.
Are there extra costs for shooting a wedding in Italy?
There are extra costs, but I keep them straightforward. The full package with two photographers adds £1250 flat rate - that covers flights, accommodation, transport, the works. For the popular package, it's £850 extra. Those rates are Italy-specific. Planning something elsewhere in Europe or beyond? Drop me a line and we'll work it out.
How do we book you for our Italian wedding?
First thing's first - drop me a line to check if I'm free on your date. If I am, great! To lock it in, you'll need to pay a 20% deposit (non-refundable, I'm afraid - it's to make sure I don't book anyone else for your day) and sign a simple online contract. I'll need the travel expenses paid about six months before the big day so I can sort out flights and stuff. Then the rest is due a month before you say "I do" in beautiful Italia!
Why pick you instead of an Italian photographer?
Good question! Look, there are some brilliant photographers in Italy, no doubt. But here's the thing - I bring a different eye to it. I've shot weddings all over, so I know how to blend that classic Italian romance with a style that'll look amazing wherever you show off your photos. Plus, if you've seen my work and love it, you know exactly what you're getting. That said, have a look at local photographers too. It's your day, and you need to go with whoever gets you and your vision, whether that's me or someone based in Italy, it's up to you.
